I have read lots of differing statements about "All I have to do is kill her"   I though it was a variation of the song "Three" As performed at L'Olympia, Paris. June 7th, 1982.  Some people say it is a variation of "FOREVER" and some say Forever is a variation of "ALL MINE"  or vice versa.    Is there anyone who knows for sure.?!
I once had a copy of "All I have to do is kill her" on a white vinyl album (ok copy).  But I really need to get a better copy on CD.  where can I get it.

I think the basic structure is the same since the band played 'Three' during 1980 tour and 'Forever' or 'Three' or 'what the hell we want to call it' during 81/82/83/84 concerts (and sometimes later...) the title 'All I have to do is kill her' is only on some boot (i.e. 'M' from Paris 82 gig) so I think basically is the same...anyway some musician told me that the chord structure on 1982 version of 'Forever' was different than the 81 version so maybe you can consider 'All I have...' another song...
And so what????
Anyway, there are a lot of boot with that wonderful Paris 7-6-82 version so I think it's quiet easy to find it...

I really want to find the Paris, June 7 1982 performance because it was the day i was born!! Anyone know if it's available?? Hoping hoping...

Bloodflower

All I have To Do Is Kill Her, to my understanding, evolved from All Mine, which was the Pornography Tour's answer to Forever; they are different songs, but serve similar purposes.

I think there is a soundboard copy of the Paris 82 show in the downloads section, but if not, I've got a copy and can try to figure out how to put something on Megaupload and upload All I Have To Do Is Kill Her sometime soon.
Another Curefan for The Dark Christmas album.

All I have to do is kill her is definately the name from the first bootleg that showed up from this concert. On the deluxe version of Pornography the song is called All Mine.

one thing is for sure: never trust a bootleg cover for any info. after all you don't know who wrote it - could have been some guy wdidn't know a thing about the band but was only looking into making some easy money by selling their music illegally. they were not fan-made covers so who cared what they wrote there? thus things are often named to just about whatever on bootleg covers. those old cs/lp/silver cd covers often even have dates and locations wrong many times etc. examples are easy to find.

here's some reading about 'forever'/'all mine':
http://www.impressionofsounds.com/stories/01.html

like stated there, i also think the main difference is the difference in the bass lines of 'forever' and 'all mine'. all else could just be called variations of either of those main ideas.

"all I have to do is kill her" is only referring to a sentence from the lyrics during "Forever" in Paris; but Robert also sang this sentence several times during other concerts from the "pornography tour" especially at the end of the tour. In any case this is a real name of a song.

Lostflowerboy

Actually all live improvisations that share the same chord structure as All mine/All I have to... are unnamed (and should me named "Untitled" therefore), as "All mine" (London) and "All I have to.." (Paris) are only refering to the specific versions and are named after lines in their lyrics.
All live improvisations that are based on the structure of "Three" can be labelled as "Forever", that's why the band called the version on Curiosity "Forever (version)".
Got it?  ;)

All you have to do is change that title, actually, as there is already a 1989 Cure song called 'Untitled'...
