i'm surprised Geffen bother putting any money up for a European tour at all

IN FACT
GEFFEN DON'T PUT ANY MONEY UP FOR ANY CURE TOUR ANYWHERE...

AN INSIGHT?
IF WE WANT TO PLAY NORTH AND SOUTH AMERICA THROUGH SEPTEMBER INTO NOVEMBER
WE END UP IN EUROPE PLAYING THE WRONG HALLS IN THE WRONG CITIES ON A DARTBOARD ROUTING THROUGH DECEMBER
BECAUSE ALL THE ICE SHOWS AND PRE-CHRISTMAS FLIMFLAM HAVE THE BEST CHOICE OF VENUES LOCKED UP FOR A YEAR IN ADVANCE...

SO WE CHOOSE TO PICK THE DATES AND VENUES WE WANT TO CREATE A PERFECT EUROPEAN CURE TOUR - AND THAT HAPPENS IN SPRING CLEARER?!!

AND NO IT IS HUGELY UNLIKELY WE WILL PLAY MORE THAN ONE UK DATE...

i hope so. i hope "perfect" doesn't mean something like the dream tour = playing a nice number of shows BUT mostly only in france, germany and italy = all the "secure"  and "easy" countries...
so i truly hope this time it's perfect and not just FLIMFLAM blahblahblah...

Same here.  I would love to see The Cure in Paris, but it's very expensive.  I'm thinking about it.  Maybe another country, I don't know.  Still a ways off.
