Lol, I think a movie of The Cure would be really quite funny, to see who got the parts and all, and wow, I don't know who would ever direct it. Hmmm, I don't know why all of you are so defensive saying that no one could ever play Simon, what about poor old Porl?

I personally like Porl more than Simon, but okay.

Why don't you just get Bob, Porl, Simon etc. to play themselves?

I agree and  Jesse Spencer would be far better for the role of Jason, look wise. And he's an actor.
And Boy George does habe a little resemblance to Porl. The eyes and the bald head.

I gotta disagree on this .

1. Jesse Spencer .. does not remind me of Jason.. I'm aussie.. he's a turn-off!!
2. Porl.. the only recent resemblance to him is Doctor Evil form Austin Powers!!! 'frickin' hilarious'.. ( I used to idolise Boy George.. but he's a bit more Kirsty Alley/Pricilla Queen of the Desert/Dessert at the moment!!!)

3. Considering that even Cate Blanchett could portray Bob Dylan.. maybe... as Robert... Chrissy Hinde from the Pretenders?? I dunno...
maybe JUST ROBERT HIMSELF???. It is my preference.. unless someone has a more creative idea.. wanna produce a show??? hahaha  :smth001

Well..Robert can't act, for one thing. Yeah, and having them all act in a movie would drive the fans into a craze. Plus what would they do for the scenes when they were supposed to look young? Lol..

it's gotta do with the bald head I suppose.. the last image for me of Boy George was when he shaved his head... plus the makeup is very creative...  ... connection to Dr. Evil.. just the baldhead.. and pale face.. quirky.. I suppose..
