New album called 'ultra' ?

well, considering what a pretty crappy album DM's ultra was, it would be sort of good if somebody made a good album by the same name - maybe it would help most people to forget that DM thing...

Oh don't, you're missing stuff I tell you! Like 101, it's a great live album, very raw energy to it (Stripped, Behind the Wheel, Things You Said, that's the stuff). Martin Gore is a fab songwriter. I feel The Cure and Depeche Mode go pretty much hand in hand, actually, and quite well at that. Also, Robert covered World in My Eyes for Join The Dots...perhaps not so well, but he likes the band too, and his opinion settles basically anything, doesn't it?

Anyway, I noticed this afternoon that the words "ultra moisturizing" are written on my soap...now that's my only association to that word...as well as disco dance records.

Raised up sounds a bit unsettlingly "disco dance-ish" too...Oh well, their album titles are usually good and fitting. I'm not worried...

I don't like Ultra for a Cure album;

considering this name I prefer 4:13 that was the first possible name mentioned for this album :roll:
but the name is not important for me; I only expect a great album

I agree about everything!
4:13 is a nice title for me...don't know why, but I like it!

But, as you say, the most important thing is the quality of the album and not the title or the cover...and I have the sensation that we'll have a great album!!!

If the album is titled 4:13, I'll carve "ULTRA" into the CD with a knife.

If the album's art is even remotely similar to the 4:13 artwork, I'll get a new favorite band.

I dont like 4:13. If you google it as a bible paragraph it means "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Not sure that is what the album should be called.

I am more for just 13 (although that is already also used by die Ã,,rzte) and I dont like Ultra as is is so closely related to DM.
