..and these eight are much better than their last three albums, i think..so i'm
happy and can't wait 'til September..

So far, I have only been able to listen to "The Only One" and a snippett of "NY Trip" (this latter did not impress me at all, but after all it was just a small section of the song, so I'm holding my judgement for the time being). As for "The Only One", it seems to be a pretty nice song but somewhat too laidback to be a good choice for a single A side. Also, it doesn´t really bring anything new, does it? It kind of sounds like a "Wish" era B side, although the B-sides from that era that I´m recalling right now were actually more powerful songs ("Play", "Twilight garden", "The big hand", "A foolish arrangement"...)

Underneath the stars is sounding bloody brilliant & gonna take some beating!!

Baby Rag Dog Book sounded so good last night, much harder than I had anticipated!!!! I was also thankful to hear Underneath the Stars last night as an opener instead of Plainsong.

Underneath the Stars was a great way to open the show last night! Baby Rag Dog Book was awesome as well, and probably my favorite of the new songs played so far. Somewhat glad they ended the main set with that instead of Disintegration (i know, sacrilegious). Why is Freakshow an encore?

I've only heard Underneath the Stars twice but it sounds the best so far and Baby Rag Dog Book once so I might like that better once I hear it a few more times.
Most of the songs are quite good!  I really think I'm going to like the album when it comes out.
