hello,
does anyone know the exact sources of that boot at all?
thank you in advance.

crowbi_wan

Well, not exact, but it's a compilation of songs lifted from other bootlegs.  1980-05-24 Arnhem (Play For Today) and one of the many boots from 1987-07-13 Santa Barbara are two of the sources.

mario

thanks for that. do you happen to know where faith s from?

Sorry, no.  I don't have this bootleg, so I can't take a listen.  If you posted some of the extra lyrics or sent me a clip of the song I might be able to figure it out.

Love this version, but it remained a mystery. It has a distinctive white or pink noise pattern in the background, simply
beautiful. All other instruments are so powerful and Robert's voice too."Recorded live in USA" is
probably misleading. I can imagine that Norman Fisher-Jones was the bass guitar player, but is that
true?  :smth100

Why or how did you think it was Norman Fisher Jones on bass?
As far as I know he played the "Oxford Road Show" in 1984 with the band (as possibly Phil Thornalley was off doing producing/engineering work).
Here's a bit of info about him:

Here's info about a gig he apparently played with the band in 1984 in Munich:

Can't find any info about him ever playing on "Faith".
... and every voice belongs to you...

Thanks again, Ulrich. You are right. I'm sorry because the subject is not new. It seems that "Noko"
played only twice with the group. Maybe time will tell or a strange coincidence. :smth023
