I get flooded with insults by kids at my school for prominantly stating my love for The Cure. I have this jacket I wear all the time that has a Robert Smith pin on it, and I always wear Cure T-Shirts and Siouxsie Tees...

This one kid in particular calls me names like "fag" and "gay" and makes fun of the band on a daily basis, saying it's no wonder I like them "I must be crazy."

Well, being that I am crazy, the "fag" and "loser" comments get to me moreso than the "crazy" comments. Am I talking? I don't even know what I'm writing...

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe they're jealous, because they haven't got that jacket and the t-shirts you have And maybe they are not a fan of a band like you.
I think they wouldn't do it if it's a band who is hip at the moment. Or am i wrong?  ???

helloooo all!
i am 17 and live in Australia. i have been a BIG Cure fan for afew years now... saw them play in August- the most memorable BEST concert ive been too so far! it was like a really REALLY good dream... i still cant believe i was 1 metre away from Robert... and he smiled at me TWICE!! oh my god! YAY!
well.. im a MASSIVE Cure and Placebo fan and i love Joy Division and Manson too!
err... yup... guess thats all... look forward to posting here!

hi Cure Freak!! and thanks  hi AlluivialL! yeah i know what it feels like not having alot of Cure fans around... i am almost the only one i know (besides my mum) who love The Cure.. she just loves them... i love them obsessively...  8) ha. but it is depressing :( ahhh well
