WELL, I DIDNT WANT TO WRITE FOR THIS TOPIC BECAUSE I'M NOT THAT INTERESTING A GUY...

I'M 28
I LIKE TO WRITE IN CAPS LOCK MODE ("Maybe I should take a little pill/Maybe I should listen to Dr. Phil." )
YEAH, JUST LIKE ROBERT DOES!
I'M FROM SERBIA (THATS BALKANS, SOUTH EAST EUROPE)
I'M A COLLEGE DROP-OUT
I GO FROM ONE ODD JOB TO ANOTHER NOWADAYS
I READ A LOT (FICTION MOSTLY BUT I LOVE ESSAY WORKS)
I LISTEN TO MANY BANDS AND MUSICIANS
 THE CURE
 LEONARD COHEN
 NEIL YOUNG AND CRAZY HORSE
 TOM WAITS
 THE FALL
 PUBLIC IMAGE LTD.
 ALL POST PUNK
 SIOUXSIE
 PINK FLOYD
 MORRISSEY, NEW ORDER, MAZZY STAR...
 SUZANNE VEGA, CYNDI LAUPER
EARLY GOTHIC ROCK (SISTERS, MISH, ALIEN, FIELDS, CLAN, BAUHAUS, ...)
SOME EBM (UMBRA, IN STRICT, EVILS...)
EARLY GRIND CORE (NAPALM DEATH, CARCASS, TERRORIZER...)
SLOW DEEP AND HARD (GODFLESH, KILLING JOKE, CHRIS AND COSEY, TYPE O...)
KRAUT ROCK AND KOSMISHE MUSIK (FAUST, CAN, KRAFTWERK,...)
EARLY ALTERNATIVE (JESUS AND MARY, BIRTHADAY PARTY, STONE ROSES...)
PUNK (CRUST, ANARCHO, EARLY EARLY HARDCORE...)
 ...

I'M PRETTY MUCH A INTERNET ADDICT AND I DONT HAVE A LIFE WITHOUT IT
I GOT A FEW SITES:
 FREE FORM RAMBLING POETRY   http://takacjanko.blogspot.com/
THE CURE HALF ASS GUITAR TABS  http://jankotakac.blogspot.com/
I GOT BANNED FROM 'MFC-THE CURE FORUM' AND I'M VERY PROUD OF IT

I LIKE TO PLAY GUITAR, I WAS IN A COUPLE OF PUNK ROCK AND NOISE ROCK BANDS
MY GUITAR IS GIBSON LES PAUL
MY GUITAR HERO IS NEIL YOUG
MY IDOL AND ROLE-MODEL IS MARK E. SMITH WITH THE BIG DROP OF JOHN LYDON AND A SCENT OF ROGER WATERS

I'M A CURE FAN SINCE 1996
IT WAS "WILD MOOD SWINGS" THAT REALLY GOT ME, BECAUSE I HAD "DISINTEGRATION" CASSETTE BUT I DIDNT BOTHER TO LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE FOR THE BETTER PART OD 90'S I WAS A CRUST PUNK ROCKER (YOU KNOW: CRASS, DISCHARGE, DISRUPT, CONFLICT, OI POLLOI...)
I WAS MAD FOR THE CURE AROUND "BLOODFLOWERS" BUT NOWADAYS I LIKE THEM LIKE EVERY OTHER FAVOURITE BAND
I DONT LIKE CURE FANS IN GENERAL
I'D RECOMMEND ONLY "CHAIN OF FLOWERS" AND "CUREFANS" AS A REFERENCE
I LIKE TO DOWNLOAD BOOTLEGS BUT I STOPPED DOING IT BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THERE IS NO WAY  I CAN REALLY LISTEN TO THAM ALL (I'M ALWAYS LOW ON TIME)

I'M PRETTY DULL IN PERSON
WITH 28 YEARS I FEEL REALLY, REALLY OLD
I HATE TO REALLY TALK TO PEOPLE
I GET BORED VERY, VERY FAST
I'M RIGHT WING, CONSERVATIVE
I DONT DO DRUGS, I DONT SMOKE AND I DRINK ONLY BEER AND SOMETIMES VINE
I'M STRAIGHT
I'M NOT IN SERIOUS RELATIOSHIP
I HATE TO TRAVEL AND I HATE TO BE FAR FROM MY HOME

I'M JUST ABOUT TO WATCH "THE TWIN PEAKS" ON TV SO...

LetterToSaraElise

Ah! A new persons thread.

I'm Sara (Middle name, Elise, if you hadn't guessed)
I'm 19, and I live in Australia.  Been a Cure fan for only about 6 months (Got Greatest Hits for Christmas, fell in love and am slowly collecting the backcatalogue) and I just bought my ticket to see the band at their August 12th Melbourne show.
I play piano, I'm a mediocre guitarist, Lovecats has inspired me to pick up the bass (but I'm really not very good yet) and I sing in a (very) casual band.
There's a very brief and vague summary of me, hope to get to know some of you better.
'It's a perfect day for letting go...'

Carnage Visor

I am 15, and I only found out about The Cure two years ago after hearing "Boys Don't Cry" on the radio. Oh boy, I had no idea that they'd move their way to the top on my list!

I am mostly found scattered across the net with the same handle: Johnnyswitchblade. On youtube, I make lots of films. I am on many forums and message boards of various sorts, and my Myspace is even called myspace.com/icodecure. The page is riddled with pictures of Robert and the band.

I am pretty sensetive and suffer depression and anxiety disorder (which is why I feel something in common with the band and Robert's melancholic lyrics).

I honestly think that Robert is one of the coolest people alive...something about him is just so interesting...I just love everything about him and the band (in a totally not-gay way if you can imagine that)  No really, I'm straight.

My favorite era of the band was when they started out as Malice in High school until around 1990. I have never been to a concert of theirs but I would love to go to one soon! :rocker

So peace out, and I am glad to be here!
