How to dissappear completely

Is it just me or does parts of the cures 'numb - especially the beginning - sound like radioheads 'how to dissappear completely?

It might just be me, but I think the Cure's "Numb" was out well before Radiohead's song - i.e. if anyone sounds like the other, it's Radiohead's song sounding like "numb"?
