Third ballot. I continue to vote every day. The gap between third and fourth place is narrow.

Thanks for the reminder, Melting Man! I just voted for today.

Looks that they're up 5,000 votes. I'm only voting for The Cure each day.

MeltingMan

Fifth ballot: The Cure vs. The Zombies and the lead of 2000 votes is melting away.  :(

Are you following a specific strategy? Just curious.

Well it seems if we only vote for The Cure, we won't help the other contenders get leads. The Cure is the only band up there that I listen to anyway.

I attempted the same today and encountered problems immediately. The site has been overridden.
Will try again tomorrow.  :?

Too many Cure fans trying to vote?  :D

That would be surprising. Our community is numerical inferior (as mentioned before).
I'm doing this for The Cure, so I'm an idealist in that way. But I suppose they will
lose the fourth place sooner or later, unless the 60 000 from the London show this
year will vote every day. This is perhaps not the case. Hope the best.  :cool

I just voted and had no trouble, but I see The Cure is now in 5th place. I'm going to keep voting every day anyway. Hopefully the 70,000 will come running before it's too late. ;-) I pinned a note about voting on my youtube channel, so hopefully that will help bring in some votes.

Sixth ballot: The Cure is catching up again. 13 000 votes within 48 hours - not bad.
Didn't get through yesterday...

Good idea. I think The Cure need the support of all (active) Curefans members.
What about a circular letter in the final week? Just a thought.

Well, what about the millions who bought the records? Or those who went to the many live shows of 2016?
There are other forums (I think), Facebook groups etc.!
Also, if the band wanted fans to vote they could announce it via twitter, official homepage & FB? Thus probably reaching (a lot) more than 60,000?

I think The Cure can reach a respectable third place. But then we need a lot more votes every day.
We still have just a month. I'm not a megalomaniac. I had my doubts in the beginning, but now I see
it from a sportive point.

Giving this topic a nudge...

...and as mentioned already, each day you can cast a new vote.

I continue to vote every morning. The number of the daily ballots for The Cure
has dropped from 6000 to 2000 roughly. If nothing changes, The Cure will lose
its fifth place in the final week at the latest. What is wrong? I don't get it.  :?
