Thank you guys!  It's nice to see people that actually care and that are friendly.  I have read some the trash on the bands official website, and to believe they call themselves fans is hard to believe.  You guys absolutey rock!!!  I am so excited, and that picture made all the more awesome.  Words can't describe how tickled pink I am.   My family is having a hard time tolerating me.  Again THANKS!!!!

Sorry for all the words I missed in my last post.  I told ya I was excited.  I broke down and screamed and bawled when I got my tix.  I think everybody in my office building heard me. I am truly die hard.

i agree 100% with u Meddy.  i was just shaking my head reading some of the stupid posts on the bands site.  How can people be like that?  it most definitly is NOT the end of the world when a band reschedules.  if you're a true fan, the wait is ALLWAYZ worth it.  i've only been on this site for a very short time but it is one of my favorites because of the awesome people in it.

One thing I learned from hearing the recording of the San Fran show is that the current Cure sound AMAZING.  I can't wait for this show.  And yes, nice folks around here.  Much nicer than a lot of the people on the official.

this is my "Finally" shmeel.....served my country in during desert storm, been a Redsox fan all my life and up until 2004 had not seen them win the world series, got married to the woman of my dreams (unfortunately divorced after 3 years...aparently it happens) and now the Cure in May of '08.

Yes, yes!!  I will be there!  Last (& unfortunately the only) time I saw them was in '96 at the same place.  I got so lucky in getting those tickets and it was a mesmerizing show.  I remember standing there in complete awe at how unbelievable they sounded live!!  I honestly can't wait 'til May either.  Who knows... this may or may not be their last show.

I don't understand the reasoning behind the latest message.  What is the point of sending out postponment reminders for a gig scheduled for September at the end of November?!

I received that email in September with the new May date and haven't received another yet... but anything's possible.  I would've freaked too seeing that in my inbox without reading it! 

As long as my tickets are in my hot little hands, I'm happy!

Chicago isn't looking too good either, which really blows since due to my sweet ticket.

The problem there is I'd like to hang onto for a while as there is still a chance, albeit one that seems to be shrinking.  The deal is I was supposed to change work schedules around that time.  Should that happen, and I need it to because I'll be out of vacation days, I can go.  Just in case, I've already reserved a room.  An no, not at The Drake.  Not all of us are high rollers    Though I am staying at one of the many Hilton owned hotels in the area.
